About Modern Polyamory

My name is Jan Dominy and I am a relationship scientist, coach and researcher living in Northern Nevada.  I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and my research focus is on interpersonal relationships with an emphasis on Consensual Non-Monogamy.

I enjoy various pursuits of happiness as a creator.  I enjoy photography, writing, music, and Burning Man.  Follow me on social media for a more personal and daily updated glimpse into my life.

I identify as a queer/bisexual/demisexual cisgender female.  I am polyamorous and prefer to date mostly men, however I do love to have a special lady in my life as well.  I tend to max out at 3 partners as saturated/satisfied.

I am a deeply intimate friend, prefering to take on the role of "sis" to all which is why I am calling my podcast "Hey Sis".  Stay tuned for more updates on when that is going to be debuting.

On Modern Polyamory, you'll find a variety of content related to my life as a female in polyamory, my research and presentations about Consensual Non-Monogamy in school, LGBTQIA+ issues and activism, and advice for people just getting started in Polyamory.

Plans for the future involve a Modern Polyamory book and accompanying workbook.  It is one of my passions to contribute to the study, research, and further visibility of Ethical Non-Monogamy.
