At Modern Polyamory, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of care, clarity, and compassion in our coaching, content, and community presence. Our ethics are rooted in radical honesty, relational sovereignty, and harm reduction. We serve clients across the spectrum of identity and relationship structure, and we hold ourselves accountable to the following values:
We prioritize clear, informed, and ongoing consent in all interactions. Coaching is a co-created space, and clients always retain the right to pause, question, or redirect the process.
We will never claim credentials we haven’t earned. While our coaching is grounded in academic research, lived experience, and a structured relationship method, we do not present ourselves as licensed therapists or certified clinicians. We speak plainly about our qualifications, our scope, and our limitations.
We affirm all relationship structures—including solo poly, hierarchical, non-hierarchical, relationship anarchy, monogamy, and more—without imposing a singular model. Your values shape the work, not ours.
We do not pathologize desire, relational style, kink, identity, or neurodivergence. Coaching with Modern Polyamory is a space where clients are not shamed for what they need or how they love.
We acknowledge the real impacts that power, privilege, trauma, and social systems have on our relationships. We welcome feedback and take responsibility for repair when harm occurs.
What is shared in coaching stays in coaching. We maintain strict confidentiality and only share anonymized insights or case examples with express permission.
Coaching is a collaborative process aimed at empowerment. Our goal is not to keep clients dependent, but to support them in building skills, clarity, and confidence to navigate relationships with self-trust.
