Couples Relationship Coaching

Couples coaching supports partners who want to strengthen their connection, improve communication, and navigate challenges together. These sessions are appropriate for both monogamous and consensually non-monogamous relationships. Coaching focuses on skill-building, shared understanding, and creating structures that help relationships function more effectively. Focus areas may include:

  • Communication repair and conflict navigation

    • Identifying common patterns in disagreements and developing tools that allow partners to express concerns without escalating conflict.
  • Rebuilding trust and emotional safety

    • Working through moments of rupture by rebuilding accountability, empathy, and transparency within the relationship.
  • Negotiating expectations and relational agreements
    • Clarifying shared expectations around time, commitment, intimacy, and responsibilities so that both partners feel heard and respected.
  • Transitioning from crisis to clarity
    • Moving from reactive conversations toward intentional decision-making about the future of the relationship.

Couples coaching is distinct from therapy and focuses on practical relational skills, collaborative problem solving, and forward movement.
